Apparently Cornell announced it on his twitter. I don't know if they're going to just tour or do a new album or whatever, but I am excited.
I was expecting one of those cheesy "let's use song and album titles in the topic title to be funny" topic titles. I'm so letdown.
i hope they comeback stronger and better than before. If not everyone is just going to remember how they flopped up on a reunion. still love them though
Best music news I've heard in months. Hopefully they sound as good as they did back then, as Cornell seems to have been getting weaker vocally as much as I hate to say that.
I haven't heard anything about a new album and whatnot, but Eddie Vedder posted on his Twitter that he wants to tour with them. And I've read on various websites that Soundgarden will be touring festivals this summer. Hopefully the start out in the US, unlike other recently reunited bands (coughfaithnomorecough). I'm willing to bet they'll headline Bonnaroo, though.
While Soundgarden would be an amazing show for sure, Faith No More would be just that much more awesome. Regardless, I will be seeing both whenever possible. Missed them in their hayday but I will see them eventually.
