I've waited so long to see Rolo Tomassi, and Paramore. Most of the other bands I want to see I have seen before but just about all of them have/will have new material by next year. I'll even go against my br00t4L friends to go and see My Chemical Romance just because I love them so much.
Faith No More? Trivium? Closure In Moscow? I don't think that list could possibly be in order of who's headlining...
I'd like to know where you heard that Attack Attack! were playing. I talked to a guy who knows the manager a few weeks ago though who told me they were playing though, didn't know it was confirmed though. if they are playing, expect to see me doing a bit of this in the pit: But yeah. I'll be seeing Isis, Sunny Day Real Estate, A Wilhelm Scream, Gallows and Alexisonfire hopefully.
Hmm, it seems the lineup posted on the official Soundwave forums changed. I've edited the original post to account for the differences, and also added the dates.
This is ridiculous. Like every year, you guys get all the best bands. Also, they all play in one day, right?
Meh. Unless someone drastically awesome comes out in the "more to come" I think I'll pass this time around. In my opinion it's got nothing on last time's with the godly In Flames and also Finch. This time I'd only be going for Paramore, and that isn't enough.
I'd go just to see Alexisonfire, Gallows and Rolo Tomassi again, and that's without going into all the bands from the list that I haven't seen live yet. This festival always seems to have really impressive lineups.
I should really give Rolo Tomassi a listen. Though i can't really afford to get into too many more bands playing haha, too many clashes last year.
I thought I saw The Cruxshadows in there for a second but no I wish they had a better lineup so that they could make my trip to Sydney worth it.
Bearing in mind we don't usually get too many good tours and such. Think of it as our version of Download or Warped, but take away the excellent headlining tours the US and UK get throughout the rest of the year. But yes, it's a single day festival. As for everyone saying it's not worth it and such, in my opinion I love the lineup and can't wait. But like I said, that's just me so each to their own.
