The first show back was last night... the new album will be called "Start A War". From a post on their message board:

To hell with Tripp. I'm glad to hear good news from the Static-X camp. Hopefully they'll work a little harder on this album then they did on "Shadow Zone".

I LOVE Static x. Thanks to Mike Shinoda for producing "it's goin down" with the X-ecutioners & wayne Static. If it weren't for mike, i don't even think static x would be as poppular as it is now (no offense) =)

No offense, but no... not at all. That did almost nothing for Static-X. In fact, some fans didn't even like that and it alienated some of them. 90% of the people who heard that song didn't even know Static-X was on it (or who they were). Static-X got big on their own, with songs like "Cold" and "Black & White" (among a few others).

Yeah, I love Mike as much as anyone, but "It's Goin' Down" didn't really help anyone but the X-Ecutioners.

 Yeah, "It's Goin' Down" didn't help Static-X IMO too. Also, i swear some people still think Wayne Static actually played the guitar in that song. :wth:
