If you live in Maryland or Virgina and weren't able to score Meteora this week, chances were you stopped by a Olsson's Books And Records store. Olsson's owns a chain of eight stores in Maryland and Virginia. A controversial descision, Olsson has decided not to sell Meteora during its first two weeks of release because of the album's suggested retail price of $19.98. It is safe to say that this unfair move towards the band could of possibly left some fans cheated out of Meteora in the first week. To try and defend his companies' awful descision General manager Brooke Higdon had this to say: "It is our buyers' opinion that Meteora's list price does not represent good value for money for customers, and crosses the line in the manufacturer's continuing exorbitant pricing structure." It's thier loss, as this controversial move probably lost them business to bigger stores such as Walmart or Best Buy or even Target. Thanks to LAUNCH for this news
