Hey, guys! So I have got a question for you. Do you prefer music streaming like Spotify or you download your music, if your country allows it? I am asling this question because in the last 2 months I have been deleting my Spotify and downloading music like a madman.

Streaming with Spotify, and downloading purchases through iTunes. Stopped illegally downloading music years ago.

I use streaming mostly now because so much music is available on my subscription services. But I like to still buy physical formats. Streaming is going to be the standard for good though, so we have to adapt to it one way or another and sooner or later.

Digital Downloads/CDs for sure. I'm not the biggest fan of streaming. Though I use Spotify to check out new artists.

Buying physical CDs to grow up my collection.

However, I also have Spotify Premium and that's what I use to listen to music 95% of the time when I'm not listening to my viynls or CDs.

I used to use ITunes way more than Spotify but I got addicted to Spotify and haven't looked back since.

Edit: I will say that the mix of Spotify and albums usually only leaking one day before they release these days has stopped me from downloading leaks. Now I just wait until they are on Spotify or pick it up in the store if it's an album I really care about enough to pay full price for.

Secret Answer C: Physical copies, be it CDs for a digital rip for one-the-go phone listening, or vinyl for home listening. I only legally buy digital copies if there's a really good digital only deluxe version or something. I don't do streaming services.

Streaming all the way (through Spotify). It really allows me to discover new music and it's no longer a monetary issue of whether I want to get a song or not. If I dig it, I save it to my library. Its really helped me branch out in terms of what I listen to, and has helped me discover some of my favorite artists.

But I also like buying physical copies, especially vinyl records now.

Digital downloads for my favorite music. I use streaming only to discover new music and checking some old stuff that I haven't heard.

^ This. I generally stream music to determine if I want to buy it. And there are some things that I stream a lot but won't ever buy. Gotta be selective.

I use Google Play Music for everything, I see no reason to buy albums or songs individually whether digital or physical. 10 bucks for all the music I want to listen to can't be beat.

I've been using Napster for $9.99 a month and while I prefer to have physical copies, streaming is just more convenient.

This except I use Spotify and I like owning physical copies of my favorite albums. But for $10 a month, I usually end up saving a few albums to my library and a few other random songs I enjoy here and there. That's a good deal if you ask me.

I prefer buying physical CDs even though I rely on digital music now since I really like having CDs. I'm using Spotify Free right now since I can listen to any song I want when I want to (at least in my computer, I don't listen to music on my phone since it takes up space, and I have an old iPod Nano that still works fine).

Illegal downloading was rampant here, but ever since they introduced Spotify and Deezer here a few years ago, streaming singlehandedly killed illegal downloading.

Google Play Music is my buddy. Dirt cheap in my country. I still buy CDs of my favorite artists though :)

I pirate all my music. Streaming is too impractical for me and the quality is mostly not very good. I'll buy a CD here and there if I have extra money.

Can't find the music you're looking for on streaming?
