...if SOAD wants to educate people on the Armenian Genocide, i think they should go to Turkey and do that, because America recognizes it. But that's going off the subject. The only ones I recognize as having to do with the genocide are War!, Holy Mountains, and P.L.U.C.K. War! and P.L.U.C.K are obvious, and a full blooded Armenian told me herself that Holy Mountains is about the genocide. Like, I can stand them. I'm not too fond of them, Daron scares me. The music is a bit overplayed and overhyped, and Hypnotize/Mesmerize was definitley overhyped. They're a pretty decent band though in the whole looking out for their fans and stuff though.
But it's still good what they're doing, like they go to rallies and stuff against war and protest, thats another reason why I like this band, they actually try to change the world.

Yeah, if you want to see a really good example of this you should watch their Boom! music vid where they joined a rally and got ralliers to sing parts of the song.

Has anyone heard any of the b-sides, demos, and unreleased songs? I HATED the Wu-Tang collabs, but there were a couple of cool songs like Johnny, The Metro, Temper, Honey, Marmalade, SnowBlind and The Mushroom Cult. The Sugar demo also sounded horrible, you can't even hear the words.
Johnny - Decent song, but I can see why it was a b-side. It wasn't amazing. Will They Die For You? - That was a good song, but not enough Serj. (Non-System album) Shame - This song was really good. I like it. (Non-System album) Snowblind - Good cover. It's not unreleased, though, it's on the tribute album to Black Sabbath. (Non-System album) Storaged - This was an awesome song! I can't believe it was never on an album of theirs. Starlit Eyes - Not a favorite. (Non-System album) Marmalade - I think this song deserved to go on an album, too. Great song! Metro - Amazing cover! I think they did great job! Patters - Again, this one was released on an album, just not a System of a Down album. Excellent song! (Non-System album) Mushroom Cult - I love Dog Fashion Disco and so this song is amazing. (Non-System album) Feel Good - I really like the message in this song. Most of the demos, like Sugar, aren't as good as the originals, although I do like the Thetawaves demo better than the album version.
I've enjoyed all the System of a Down album's but Toxicity has in my opinion been the best of the bunch. I think Serj has a better voice then Daron but they are both very talented

zakrisk, I agree with most of your opinions on the songs, and your definetely right that Marmalade should have been on an album, not just an E.P., and Johnny wasn't that great, its sorta repetitive.

I thought the demo of Spiders was really cool, though. The Toxicity demos basically suck, and there aren't enough. The Steal This Album demos aren't good except Thetawaves really, and Mr. Jack kinda.
The War? demo was really weird, the middle was so messed up, but other than that it sounded the same as tyhe origianal.
