Hey, I've met this guy on another LP forum claiming that he has a version of technique that lasts about a minute long. Is that version of technique official?

There is not a longer version of Techniuqe as I clearly stated in my first post. What ever long version of Technuiqe you find is probably fan made.

It's just cut and paste. If you listen, the 'extra' bit is just another part of it added to the end. I know, I've heard it.

I read a review where the guy said something like ''Technique (The full version, about 1:40).'' However, I don't know what to believe. I don't see why would they shorten a song on a six song ep. But IMO the song is bad. What was the point? It's forty seconds long, and starts fading out at thirty seconds.

    It's showcasing Joe's scratching techniques.

Except that it's not. The Technique on the EP, which is 40 seconds, is the ONLY official version of the song.

    Newbs... *sigh*

I think you missed my point. Yes it showcases Joe's scratching but for a very short period of time. To me it just wasn't worth it.
