    Not judging you or anything, but you're probably one of the vocal minority that supports Meteora on this forum. Just saying.

    Is it just me, or does listening to most tracks on Minutes to Midnight seem more boring now that I've listened to The Catalyst?

    Hmmmm, fair enough. When I hear What I've Done though, it comes off far too generic and boring to excite me. This song is far more dynamic and unpredictable. It also has quite a different sound then the LP we're used to.

    I'm trying to like this but I'm having trouble.

    I don't remember having to "try to like" on any singles released during HT and Meteora

    IMHO

    Hybrid Theory = Linkin Park
    Reanimation = Linkin Park
    Meteora = Linkin Park
    Minutes To Midnight = U2 / Greenday / Keane / Snow Patrol etc.
    A Thousand Suns = One Republic / Owl City / Moby..... ???? (Judging by single)

    Although I don't dislike Catalyst, I'm really hoping LP go back to rock and rap, cuz that's what they were good at.. and I think loads of fans would agree with me.

    I bet this is spraypaintnink

    Edit: Oh, and what's funny is Reanimation is a collab with tons of different artists, alot of the instrumentals wasn't done by LP. Funny stuff

    Your screen name kinda suits what your posts make me do.

    "..."

    Linkin Park will never go back to rock/rap. Both Chester and Mike have said this now. It's not going to happen.

    That surprises me honestly. There are songs of Linkin Park I dislike, even some on Meteora. But it's one of the few albums I can listen to from start to finish without it ever feeling tiresome.

    HT was 2000, Meteora was 2003. It's 2010 now and the band is in their 30s. Having every album be nu-metal would just kill the uniqueness. They're changing and if you're not happy, then that's pretty much your problem. :p

    If they said that then that for me is the end of the LP I knew and loved. If I wanna listen to techno/electronic music I'll listen to an artist/band that are actually good at it and have done it for years..

    If you like this new style then I'm happy for you..

    It's. Not. Techno.
    Mike said there would be rapping and screaming on the record. Can't you be happy with that?

    Jumping to conclusions about an album based on one song is a mistake.

    While I pretty much hate all things religion, I never felt they were really explicitly literal. The saying "God help us" has the same meaning whether you believe in God or not. Similar with the idea of sin.

    I did notice it too, but it is hardly like LP went Christian Rock on us or anything :lol:.
