I voted Pretty Birdy because it just seems like an unmastered version of wanting to heal and feel something real.
Agree. I actually don't mind SIB (despite the poor lyrics) but I think LP reworked the guitar parts of that song for the better.
It's hard to believe that Beta State won the LPU Sessions contest, with Change sounding so dated, like something Taking Back Sunday or Fall Out Boy would put out back in their early days. It's not a terrible track, but I'm honestly sure that LP could have chosen a musician/band that sounds at least a bit more interesting.
"Change" might be quite a traditionnal rock song, it's not bad either, and has a good melody and hook. It's certainly better than some of the unfinished and repetitive instrumentals there was on there guys I'd say my least favorite is the SIB demo. There wasn't much in it to make it stand out.
