    I agree completely. MTM is easily LP's best sounding album. Shame they're ditching Neal Avron for this album, but it's nice to mix things up (pun not intended) every once in a while.

    I think it's left to opinion. Imo, MTM is their worse album while HT and ATS are tied for best album. However, after reading the article, I still don't feel as if my views have changed on anything. I'll just form my opinion after I've heard the album

    Aside from SOTD, which in the car is a bitch to listen because of the kick. About ATS, as Derek said, The Catalyst sounds flat. If it would have been mixed better, it would have been by very very far my favorite song of LP.
    I'm glad they changed. Not that I disliked, but I believe there is more talent around.

    I do agree the kick is WAY too heavy in Shadow Of The Day. I always have to turn my subwoofer down when that song comes on.

    the MTM-Mix was special. Very Striped down. No Meteora-Mix/no new metal mix.
    MTM has got a real alternative mix. I really like the ATS-Mix. I don't like the mix on LOATR

    I like the fact that the "Story telling" is still there but there is nothing else I've heard about this record besides Owen contributing strings that has me excited.
