So this cd came out on june 24th and i bought it the day it came out and i have to say this is my favorite cd of 2003 I even like it more than the new deftones and new radiohead. Right on White Pony! I d/l two songs of theirs a week ago! They kick ass! Thanks for the link! From 'Televators' and 'Take the Veil Cerpintax' they are the freshest act of the year. Flea plays bass but John Frusciante plays guitar too! He is amazing with RCHP and no less with The Mars Volta!

Well, first of all I think you have the wrong band! IF you SURE its The Mars Volta, then tell us some legitimate reasons about why you don't like them, then I will actually take that comment seriously! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh, and I'm gonna probably post a review of the album soon! I just have to say that it is just as good as White Pony said! I was suprised by the rhythm section and how good it was! Flea (known as one of the best bassists of the 90s)-- and the drummer (whats his name?) is very creative and goes nuts on the fills!
I'm listening to this right now off Rolling Stone. My thoughts: THIS ALBUM AND BAND SUCKS. Holy crap. The vocals are really, really, really annoying. I just don't like it at all.

I highly agree, Will. Odaton, Will has one of the best tastes in music so you really need to just chill.

oh well i still think this is the best cd of 2003 and the drummers name is jon theodore AND cedrics vocals are just so freaking great
