    Right you are!

Back on topic. Honestly, there are loads of 'moments' in MTM and one of those, which I didn't include last time, is that drum solo from TLTGYA just before Brad brings in the guitar solo. That part is just brilliantly done!

I love the hi-hat I think it is that sounds so awesome in TLTGYA. That half makes that song for me.

I've got a looong list lol:

    Phi's bassline in 'Wake'

Brads guitar in the start of Given Up's bridge (I love that!)

Bridge of Bleed it out (Chesters' "I've opened up these scars...")

The end of shadow of the day

Hands Held high's ending (I love the way all the instruments gradualy stop playing, first the drums, then the guitar, just leaving the organ)

Mike's backing vocals on No more sorrow

Valentines day's piano solo breaking into the ending

    In Pieces' keyboard

    The ending of TLTGYA

The accapella part at the end of TLTGYA, and the intrumental piece at the end of Shadow of the Day.

Agreed. Now that I think about it, Hands Held High, as a song, is really the high point of the album for me. Especially the melodic vocals Mike sings at the end.
The first time I heard that song it gave me chills because I thought it was so
poignant and beautiful. I almost felt like crying, but ahem... yeah I'm totally manly.:D

Phoenix's bassline is Wake really just hit it off for me.
The line in LOATR "I've never been perfect but neither have you."

Those parts sold the album for me - it just made the rest of it that much better

Oh yeah, and "In Between" whole song speaks to me.

Definitely the guitar solo on In Pieces, that song better be a single or else I'm gonna be pissed.

Probably the #1 thing for my was the ending of Hands Held High. Simply because when I got the album leak I was going to Florida for the weekend and I remember listening to the part where it goes, "With hands held high into a sky so blue..." I was on the airplane and it was just so cool and fitting.

Also can't forget about the solo's in TLTGYA, In Pieces, Shadow of the Day, and What I've Done. All small or big, they have an impact because their really the first solo's LP has ever done. This line in Valentine's Day that goes, "And the ground below grew colder, as they put you down inside.", paints a very detailed picture in my mind, too.

I better stop before I go through the whole album, haha.

    the part in "valentine's day":

"and the clouds / above moved closer, looking so / dissatisfied, and the ground / below grew colder as they put / you down inside ... but the / heartless wind kept blowing, blowing ..."

    :)

and the second verse of "bleed it out", esp. the start; i love the transition there.

"... i bleed it / out, go, stop the show / choppy words in a sloppy flow / shotgun opera, lock and load / cock it back and, then, watch it go!"

i also love the parts in "hands held high" and "the little things give you away" where they just dive into acapella. ;)
