In the summer of 2002 MTV2 ran these videos (supposedly created by Joe Hahn, I can't remember) on "Playback"; a show that served as a kind of listening party for albums that were getting ready to come out. These were only aired a few times within a few weeks of each other, and since nobody has been able to find them for 7 years, they're evidently pretty fucking rare. Rare, and now available for your viewing pleasure by way of a rip of an old ass VHS I had from all those years ago. Enjoy. *** work in progress *** Opening http://www.zshare.net/video/6125559063f6e98d/ Pts.OF.Athrty http://www.zshare.net/video/61255932b8d7c3a9/ Enth E Nd http://www.zshare.net/video/612562249240e5ad/ Chali/Frgt/10 http://www.zshare.net/video/61256445799ed45c/ P5hng Me A*wy http://www.zshare.net/video/6125670238ed7f8b/ Plc.4 Mie Hæd http://www.zshare.net/video/612570317d4143f9/ X-Ecutioner Style http://www.zshare.net/video/61257202834d532b/ H! Well, LPMB is notorious for lack of activity short of a Mike Shinoda sighting, so I figure should what I already have over there unappreciated , the remainder of them will almost definitely be exclusive here.
Joe didn't create all the videos, most of them had different directors: Opening: Mr.Hahn Pts.Of.Athrty: Nathan Karma Cox Enth E Nd: Jason Goldwach [Chali]: Mr.Hahn Frgt/10: Joshua Cordes P5hng Me A*wy: Scott Patton Plc.4 Mie Hæd: Shawn M.Foster X-Ecutioner Style: David Zager H! Ah ok. Thanks. I couldn't remember, and since most of the internet apparently doesn't have any idea these even exist, it was hard to find anything on them.
Posted in news. If you do happen to give the rest exclusive, please post the links in the news thread or PM them to me and I will update the post accordingly. Thanks!
great find! FTG actually had all of these posted a few years ago. i copped them back then. your video quality is much better, but the FTG rips definitely have higher quality sound. if only we could combine the two... hmmmm... anyways... thanks for taking the time to upload all of these! that's a lot of work that will go unappreciated by many.
I was actually toying with the idea of pasting the songs off of the CD over the videos in editing but didn't know if people would prefer a direct rip or not. I'll do one as a sample and we'll see how it turns out.
Ok I just realized how awful the audio on these actually were. I've been listening to them through headphones and they come in perfectly, but had to crank up the volume all the way to get it normal. The actual rips have very good quality I just need to crank it up in editing. They'll all be fixed soon.
