Who do you think will be the next James Bond now that Pierce is gone?

I think there are lots of people who could do it but I'm not sure who I think would do a good job.

Some people I think might be able to do it are:
    Hugh Jackman
    Viggo Mortensen (maybe)
    Heath Ledger (probably not)
    Matt Damon (eh?)
    Jason Statham (Transporter)[donno]

I heard Colin Farrel somewhere but I don't think he would be able to pull it of.

Anyways ... enough of my blabbering what do you all think?

    Orlando Bloom :D
Or... There were speculations that Robbie Williams could do it... Well, I think whoever it's gonna be, he's gotta be English or else the whole English James Bond accent thingy is gone...

    My guesses;
    Jason Statham
    Viggo Mortenson
    Maybe some others...

But, really.. The old James Bonds were great. You need to have someone who's familiar with the role. Why can't they have some kind of "Battle Of The Bonds", or something like that. Then the audience could decide who gets the role.

*pulls out his newly bought Goldeneye DVD* mmm, i love you Piercey, I love you Goldeneye, he he.

    lol....

in my eyes, Sean Connery was good, but I think Pierce Brosnan was the best James Bond to date. Connery's movies were more interesting cuz of the villians and plots, but for I am more drawn to the Pierce Brosnan 007's, probably cuz I started into the whole James Bond thing when I got an N64 and Goldeneye for N64 for Christmas the year it came out, it got me addicted to the series from there.

to be completely honest, I am still hoping for a fast one in which Pierce is saying he is out so that the media is swirling about for a new bond, but in reality, he's still staying, but that's me hoping and praying for atleast ONE more Pierce 007 movie :(

and btw, Hugh Jackman has also said he would never do the James Bond role, but again, maybe that's to shut up the masses

I believe Jason Statham with some more hair would make a perfect bond. I mean he already has that slight british accent Bond always had, and the dude kicks a lot of ass.

Orlando Bloom as James Bond is a fucking joke. You people cannot be serious.

    I agree with Derek.

I'm too used to the ass-kicking mentally-troubled Jason Bourne that Matt Damon plays to think he'd make a good gadget-wielding, womanizing James Bond.

I can definitely see Jason Statham. Or Ethan Hawke (unfortunately).

    Kiefer Sutherland would be awesome.

I don't expect them to go with a very established actor, personally.

Yeah. Sounds like what Batman did with Christian Bale and Star Wars with Hayden Christensen.

I hope they did what was done with Batman Begins.

And by that I mean getting an actual good actor.

Why, all the rest have been established except maybe George Lazenby (On Her Majesty's Secret Service).
