Here's the video. It wasn't that great but whatever. Warning, do not watch in a dark room. Read the description.
It's an incredibly lame video IMO. Maybe this would have served well as the lyrics video, but it didn't work as a music video. It looks like Trent used a front facing iPhone camera and Microsoft Paint to make this. It's not creative.
fuckin' David Lynch. might be the only person in the world that could fuck up a NIN video with his supposed "creativity". I'm bias, though, since I think he's a horrible and pretentious director.
I've watched a lot of videos that have seisure warnings but this was definitely the first one that I would actually describe as being intense to any degree.
^ Kanye's All of the Lights is pretty bad too. I don't really like this song and the video is a bit too much as well. Oh and Lynch's "Twin Peaks" is one of the greatest shows I've ever seen!
Something tells me Nine Inch Nails is going to beat the shit out of Sigur Ros in terms of who can make the darker sound...
Love the video. Two incredibly messed up minds working together. That is the most legit seizure warning you'll probably ever see.
A new NYTimes interview is out that talks about touring, and some of the thematic connections between Hesitation Marks and The Downward Spiral. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/28/a...ck-onstage-with-a-vengeance.html?pagewanted=1
