For some odd reason, I don't really like 'Getting Smaller.' It's odd because I usually love anything that Trent does. Meh. I guess it will grow on me.
...The 23-date outing is slated to hit a number of North American cities on multiple nights, beginning with a two-night stand at the 2,300-capacity Warfield in San Francisco on April 27 and running through a pair of shows at the 2,400-capacity Soma in San Diego on May 30-31. The Dresden Dolls are scheduled to open all of the North American dates.... This makes me happy. What makes me sad is that I doubt I'll get to go to this.
I'm hearing shit from another board that the entire album has leaked now. I'm so tempted to check if it's true. :wth:
Shame Shame Paul. I know your name. -------------------- This album is taking to long to come out. I really hope it lives up to it's hype. But, from the songs I heard, I think it's going to be better than the Downward Spiral.
Okay, so if you're using LimeWire, don't get Sunspots. It's a fake, and it sounds like a techno version of the Mario theme. The Collector is just a fancy fan-remix of Where Is Everybody? off of "The Fragile". I'm keeping this, even if it's not a With Teeth track.
Nine Inch Nails - The Collector/Where Is Everybody? Nine Inch Nails - The Perfect Drug (Trippy Remix) Nine Inch Nails - Ruiner (Trance Remix) Nine Inch Nails - A Warm Place (Drum & Bass Remix) Nine Inch Nails - Closer (Trance Remix) Word.
I can see why most people are. This album sounds like a mutation of Broken and Still. Very minimalist with the production so far. And plus the lyrics aren't so angry. Trent sounds like he's turning his attention to the outside more than himself. Like he said "I'm getting more sane as the world gets crazier."
So yeah, I bought 'The Fragile' today after hearing it fully for the first time on Saturday. What an amazing album.
Indeed. Bought that at a rummage sale for $10...one of the best purchases of my life! [/b][/quote] Ass. It cost me $35.63CDN at Future Shop. Good thing I had $40 in Future Shop certificates from Christmas.
Yeah that's fucking crazy. NIN shows have been selling out in under 5 mins no problem. Pretty good for a guy who hasn't released a record in 6 years. Edit: How is that even possible? One minute??
