their 'new sound' is nothing what I expected, but I like it. I just hope it doesn't get TOO "rocky" towards the motley crue/p.roach/hinder/rev theory that a lot of bands seem to be going lately. I name those, because that's what it kind of reminds me of. still good, looking forward to this album.
The band posted a MySpace blog on December 16th, 2008 announcing that their guitarist, Elias Reidy, was no longer with the band, and that he has not been since late October. The band was sure to reassure their fans that "regardless have no fear - the core of RJA remains intact
Aww, I liked Elias. Oh well. I remember learning how to play Face Down with Elias and Duke doing a how to video.
I love "You Better Pray", heard it when it premiered, I think it's far ahead of the stuff on the debut. Although I also think that was something else altogether. And I enjoyed the video. Don't know if the two go together but it's cool.
Am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculous that the bell outside the building was louder than the bell inside? What? I hate the song. I hate the sound they're going for because it's been done so much lately, the whole sleezy rock sound. His voice doesn't fit with it at all.
I like the instrumentals, but I think the lyrics are horrid and can't stand the distortion effects applied to the voice. Didn't care for their last album besides the lead single either, though.
I dislike this song so much. What happened to this band? What were they thinking? Ugh, I hate it when a favorite band of mine changes direction for the worse.
im sorry but this is just god awful. I remember when they announced a new single i kept checking myspace waiting for it so much and than it finally came out and i was just like.... *slap to the forehead.... this is not red jumpsuit at all.... i saw em live and i can not imagine him performing the song, i will seriously laugh so much.... its just their sound or their image. I sounds so sold out and fake... I really hope this is just a 1 song deal... cause if the entire album is this way, forget it. They put on such a memorable show, one of my favorite ones ever, and this is just a disgrace coming from them... in other words.... im very sad about this
I didn't like the song very much the first time I heard it, but it grew on me a little and now I don't mind it as much as I used to. I like the video though. I'm hoping they play their older stuff when I see them soon..
Yay, first Escape the Fate turn into lame sleaze-rock wannabes, now RJA. I agree with Will, his voice doesn't suit at all. Hopefully they'll stick to playing older stuff at Soundwave in March.
