hey. the newest sims is coming out this year! and it looks awesome. there's a ton of new features: the people actually grow up and eventually die, it's in a ground level view, there's a "create a sim" feature and a ton of other stuff.

I think The Sims is second only to Animal Farm as the most boring, pointless and time-wasting game of all time.

    I'll second that.

Sim City and the other Sim games are much better.

No way! Controlling little people as if you were an almighty god kicks ass!

With all these additions to The Sims 2 there should hardly be a boring, idle moment in the game. There are so many new things that weren't in the original that I hope to get my hands on this the minute it comes out.

Then you would much rather play Black and White, it makes more sense. It has identical graphics to the current Sims game and half of the disk space. The new Black and White game will be out sometime next year I think.

I really can't wait for this game. I have all the expansion packs for the first on the PC and am heavily into it. You can call me sad if you don't like The Sims :p . I wanted to get The Sims Bustin' Out but my Mum wouldn't let me. I only ever got The Sims for the GC cuz i wasn't allowed the other <_<

I love the sims. It's one of the most addictive things ever, though I don't actually play, I build and I build loads <_>'

Looking forward to this new one though :D

My little brother likes The Sims a lot, yet I uninstalled it because it took up half of our 17Gb hard drive (with 4 exp. packs).

I love this game. You can be married to anyone you want and then #### them in a bed. Heck, I could be married to Derek! That wouldn't be a half bad idea. :shifty: :chemist:

I've been waiting for this game ever since the first screenshot surfaced (the two women kissing with the man walking into the room with the portrait of one of them in a thought bubble)... I can't wait to pick this game up, The Sims makes me feel important, so yes, now that the Sims are taking whole new steps, it's going to be even greater, and anyone who thinks different shall die a painful death as I have to many Sims who've continuously burned down furniture .

    I'm serious... :chemist:.

    ...I like playing God.

I can't believe so many people play this game. It's BORING! All you do is sit around all afternoon watching some people in a house... The only fun thing to do is kill them... and even that got boring after awhile.

:withstupid: the sims rule! and i agree the new stuff will make it more exciting. the original sims used 2 get quite tedious after a while

I had the Sims and I do admit at times it got boring, until I found out the code to get my Sim's unlimited money and went to pimpin up their houses. Only problem is that it lagged so badly after awhile and I couldn't take how demanding the damn Elijah!Sim was, so I removed the game. It won't let me put it back on now, though :(
