Has to go be one of the best bands that I have ever listened to. As much as I sometimes find Corgan's voice annoying I usually look past that.

Billy Corgan = One of the most underrated guitarists of the last generation of music. Mind you, he did a great job in Zwan.

As much as Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness were great albums, I must say hands down to Gish.

    Absolutely incredible.

Tonight, Tonight is the best song ever.
And when I say best song, I mean my favourite song ever.

I was raised on Smashing Pumpkins (among others) so I definitely feel the love for what Smashing Pumpkins were. Now? Not so much. I don't care what anyone says, once Iha and D'arcy were out of the picture, it wasn't the Pumpkins anymore. And now even Jimmy is gone, so it's all a fucking farce.

I hate most of their material. They are either really good or terrible for me.

I love them, although they have been really hit or miss since the band was restarted. Only about 1/3 of Zeitgeist was truly excellent. I will admit Teargarden has shown some promise. A Song For A Son and A Stitch In Time were surprisingly good. And if you like Gish, have you listened to any of their pre-Gish demos? There are some gems. I recommend East (Alt).
