    man you are fast.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports that M. Night Shyamalan and crew quietly set up shop in Chadds Ford, Chester County, this week to shoot additional footage for The Village.

Sigourney Weaver, William Hurt, Joaquin Phoenix, and Bryce Howard were present for a three-day shoot, which, several crewmembers say, was the filming of a new ending.

The Gladwyne-based director's sixth film is scheduled for a July 30 release and had filmed in Chadds Ford last year, from October through December.

A studio spokesperson said the shooting did not involve a new ending, but since the ending has been leaked online already there's always a possibility that this is indeed the case

The ending is pretty lame, but I guess there wasn't much else of a choice left.

The script is more related to Signs than his other efforts, and Signs is the only film I enjoy from him, so I eagerly await to see the film.

In my opinion, Night is a much stronger director than writer, but his visual sense definetly helps to balance his writing skills so I hope he can keep this afloat. Not to mention, he makes quite good money from this, he's got an estimated net of around $40 million in salary which is pretty good for only 4 feature films in distribution.

Sixth Sense was bitchin', so I'll give him a pass if this movie sucked.

    Although, Signs sucked the ass.

Back with some spoilers on the film, do not highlight the following if you have no wish to know!

    Rumored Endings

    - Originally, I had heard they were some odd race of humans that followed rituals of the 1700's, when in fact it takes place in present day.

    - Now, I believe the reshot ending is the fact that they are the creatures, and the 'creatures' have trapped them in a human zoo. But when they try to escape, they all die, excluding Joaquin Phoenix and Bryce Howard.
