from the reviews Ive heard ppl are saying that its his best yet , while the others are saying that its a pile of crap, the more I here about this film the more I want to see it, at 1st I was a bit put off from the negative reviews of the film, I still think that M. Night has one of the most beautiful eyes for cinamatography
I loved this movie as well. It's so surprising and amazing. But someone please tell me why did Noah chase Ivy through the woods?. All the actors are very good especially Adrien Brody. Did they use the reshot ending or the old one? If they used the reshot one, what was the original ending?
They reshot the ending a few months ago, it leaked online with the script, which I CANNOT find anymore And, the reason why Noah chases Ivy is because he was in love with her, and realizes that she does not love him so he tries to kill her.

[/b][/quote] That makes sence and I suppose that's the reason why he stabs the main character guy (can't spell his name) I hate how they're giving the movie bad reviews, I don't really understand, but I guess everyone has different tastes.
I thought it was great , but i didnt get something that went on in the movie . [SPOILERS] If the creature was actually brody , why was the creature there whenever Ivy (blind girl) reached her hand out ? Brody was already inside hiding with the rest of the people. I noticed that M. Night was also in the movie , whenever the Wildlife Guy went into that house to get the medicine , u could see the reflection of M Night whenever he reached for the medicine off the glass case..
Well I think that it was the village elder people were doing the "attack" on the village, not Brody. Brody just found the costume in the floor boards when he was sent to "the quiet room"
I ####### love this movie. Its M. Nights best movie after the sixth sense. Highlight: M. Night always have cameos in his movies.
im gonna have to watch this movie at my friends birthday/graduation on friday. i havent seen much reviews or previews to know much about it. but personally id rather watch harold and kumar.
As I suspected, The Village opened at number one and surpassed expectations by about $11 million dollars! The only decent film offered by Touchstone/Disney (Around The World, King Arthur) saved their dismal quarter. Harold and Kumar came in a pitiful 5th place
