This second half's pretty slow since they're mostly character-focused episodes. You could either get bored or fascinated. Mine was mostly the latter.

I'm still in a bit of awe there. Don't want to quite say that I called it yet, since I'm on the fence on the issue, in any case..

Fuck you Dwight. Fuck you for killing Abraham and fuck you for (possibly) killing Rick. All the more reason to make Daryl into Dwight.

    The arrow didn't look muck'd.

I just know that if I got shot with an arrow and it went all the way through my back that I would a.) not be feeling to so good and b.) be pretty pissed of about being shot in the back, muck or not.

Just watched gameplay of The Walking Dead season 2 game episode 2.

That was probably one of the best episodes they've ever done, if not THE best. The decisions were extremely difficult, even if I'm watching at Youtube.

The first episode is still a feeltrip, though.

'Twas a great episode. Play them yourself! Watching them isn't the same as playing them. Great, great episode. That episode still doesn't beat the first episode of The Wolf Among Us though. What a great Telltale series.

This last episode is pretty much my favorite of this half of the season.

So I accidentally saw spoilers of the next episode.

And it's everything you've come to expect from a Scott Gimple episode: HOLY SHIT.

Was Scott Gimple the one who wrote Clear, the episode where Morgan came back? Because that episode was fucking brilliant.

    He wrote:
"Save the Last One" - Shane kills Otis
"Pretty Much Dead Already" - Sophia is a zombie
"18 Miles Out" - Shane vs Rick fistfight; Beth tries to kill herself
"Hounded" - Rick talks to dead people; Merle hunts Michonne
    "Clear" - Morgan came back
"This Sorrowful Life" - Merle dies
"30 Days Without an Accident" - Season 4 premiere; It's raining zombies!
    "The Grove" - next episode

Also, if you didn't know this already, he's the current showrunner. It was his idea to incorporate more comic elements/scenes into the show this season.

And with this next episode, he's solidified himself as the show's Robert Kirkman.

No one is the show's Robert Kirkman. The health and well being (and number) of the survivors makes that evident.

By "the show's Robert Kirkman", I mean that he makes the gutsiest decisions out of all the writers. He's killed children (Sophia, Duane), gave gutpunches (Daryl finds and kills Merle) and appreciates minimalism (18 Miles Out, Clear, Michonne not speaking in Hounded). Plus, ever since he was the showrunner of this season, many comic book events that many thought was impossible to show on screen was incorporated into the story.

    Including the next episode.

This episode (and this entire season IMO) proves why Scott Gimple should stay on as showrunner for the rest of the show. The recent episode he wrote was fucking fantastic, and I just love the direction the show took this season. I really hope they don't get a different showrunner for Season 5, like they usually do every season.

When AMC renewed the show for season 5, they announced that he would return as showrunner. :)

Can these characters meet up so the plot can get going? People are guessing Negan will be showing up in the finale, at this rate he'll arrive around Season 9.

Negan in the finale? I doubt that; maybe Season 5 half-season finale. I've been expecting Alexandria to show up this finale.

    Lizzie, the stupid fuck.

Those burnt walkers were so bad ass. I wonder who started the fire and did the walkers walk into it, or did someone actually burn them?

I don't think so. I do believe "A" (the finale's name) alludes to Alexandria, but season 5 casting sheets confirmed that the season starts off with Rick & co. heading to Washington, so we'll be seeing Alexandria somewhere mid-to-end part of season 5. That pushes Negan to season 6 or 7 I believe, unless the show goes full steam ahead and advances on the comics.

Also, I'm debating on whether the home invaders/marauders are the Hunters or if we're going to see the Hunters next season. There's also debates that say that Beth was kidnapped by Father Gabriel.

The smoke and the burnt zombies came from the building Beth and Daryl burned down.
    Just saying.

    That is all.
