It would have been good to see Chad Kroeger and Chester sing on one song, but only with Chad because Nickelback is inconsistent and LP plays all instruments much better than NIckelback. Chad Kroeger only would be a good option as he alone makes some good collaboration songs like for example Let Me Go from Avril Lavigne's 2013 self-titled album. It would have been a song with that post-grunge feel to it and that would be good.
After watching interviews... & hearing Chester liked them... A Linkin Park & Depeche Mode track.. seeing as Depeche mode are back at the moment... but that's the 80s teen in me...
I find it such a missed opportunity for them not able to make a video album (just like Beyonce's album). I think OML is the perfect opportunity for them to do it since it's their most personal record.
@hannalily Thanks for that video... it also sent me bk in time to my youth.(I'm talking original years of release lol ). .. resulting in me watching.. master & servant... people are people.. finally personal Jesus ...
Would've loved the band to perform at the Grammys again tbh. I mean I guess that's still possible, but without Chester, if wouldn't feel right.
I would have liked a collab album with Eminem to be honest, but don't kow if it would work, probably not,
He's leveled really, really harsh criticisms at the band in the past. This is all I can find atm but there's been a few shots over the years. https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/new...ave_grohl_vs_linkin_park_m246tley_cr252e.html However he's also said if they make a song he likes, he'd genuinely like it and not just immediately trash it just because he normally doesn't usually like the band (which, again, I can't seem to find a link for...). Also this exists, so who the fuck knows.
Dave Grohl not considering Linkin Park his cup of tea doesn't change the fact that he's one of rock's greatest in my eyes.
He on record stating he doesn't like LP because they use backing tracks when they perform http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/da...ley-cr-e-for-using-backing-tracks-in-concert/
