A long long time ago, during the early week of Thanksgiving, my mom and I go to the honeybake ham store. I love going there not only to get ham, but to also have samples. They have two types of samples: two kinds of turkey in little slices with rasberry sauce on the side and cake or pie. They used to have pecan pie as a sample for a long time. They had it out for a few years. Then the next up for a few years was the carrot cake. Now this time, they had out the red velvit cake. It was good. I was being adventourus this time to try the turkey with rasberry sauce. It was good too. :) It's a small tradition, but it happens every year for a long long time.
