I Know There Was A Thread Like This But It Has Died.... So Tell Us Who You ThinK Has A Unique Voice.. Here Are Who I Think Are Unique - Dave Macpherson (InMe) - This Man Can Go From High Pitch To Low Pitch In A Matter Of Seconds. Max Cavalera (Soulfly) - Always Sounds Like He Has A Cold..... I Havent Heard Anyone Else Like Him.. Maybe Because I Dont Listen To Any Other Brazilian Bands. Wayne Static (Static-X) - Enough Said. Matthew Tuck (Bullet For My Valentine) - Great Singer And Very Good Guitar Player. Matt Heafey/Heafy (Trivium) - Same As Above.
That guy from Blink 182, the one that sounds all whiney It's not a good unique in my opinion, but nobody else sounds like him
Trent Reznor - very distinctive voice Corey Taylor - again, you can tell it's him when you hear it. I wouldn't say the Blink 182 guy is that unique, he sounds pretty similar to the lead singer of New Found Glory...
Brandon Boyd (Incubus) Chad Gray (Mudvayne) Chino Moreno (Deftones) Jon Davis (Korn) Matt Heafy (Trivium) M Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold during the 'Waking the fallen' era) Matt Tuck (Bullet for My Valentine) Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails)
Serj Tanakian of System of a Down. Cedric Bixler-Zavala of The Mars Volta/At The Drive-In. Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. even though that guy from Panic!AtTheDisco sounds exactly like him. Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God. although I don't really listen to other metal, so I'm not sure if it's unique to the metal world, but it is to me. Saul Williams Fiona Apple Paul McCartney of The Beatles/Wings Jack White of The White Stripes Alec Ounsworth of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Claudio Sanchez of Coheed & Cambria Zack De La Rocha of Rage Against The Machine M.I.A Jello Biafra of The Dead Kennedys
Tori Amos She does so many weird things with her voice. Dave King (Flogging Molly) I love Irish singers. This guy somehow makes bad tone quality sound amazing. Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) Even if you've never heard the song before, you just know it's Led Zeppelin because his voice is so destinct. Jim Morrison (The Doors) Bluesy, deep, but not annoying at all. How does he do it!? Robert Smith (The Cure) Tastefully whiney. Amanda Palmer (The Dresden Dolls) Possibly the most emotianal voice I've ever heard. That girl can seriously express herself. Morrissey (The Smiths/Morrissey) His voice is so old fashioned and I love it. Sting (The Police/Sting) The only person that can sound like him is his own son. Jack White (The White Stripes) What a strange voice he has! Nasal, but not to the point where it becomes unbearable. Delores O'Riordan Burton (The Cranberries) Crazy Irish woman and her crazy Irish voice. I'm jealous of her. Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers) No one sounds like him. Freddy Mercury (Queen) Possibly the most destinct voice ever. He's a classic. Gwen Stefani (No Doubt/Gwen Stefani) Even though I hate her for her crappy solo career. No Doubt is awesome. More later, when I remember them.
Matt Heafy-The guy can fucking scream his ass off and then go into a perfectly clean chorus like it's nothing. Connor Oberst-He just has this sound to his voice. I have no idea what it is, but it just sets him apart from others. [Forgot the name...singer of Iron and Wine]-He just sounds so unique, his voice sounds almost creepy. Patrick Stump-I hate Fall Out Boy, but Stump's voice just sounds...well...cool.
Mike Patton (Faith No More / Mr. Bungle / Fantomas / Tomahawk / DEP / Maldoror) Les Claypool (Primus / Colonel Claypool's Bucket Of Bernie Brains / etc.) Imogen Heap (Frou Frou / Imogen Heap) Beck Neil Fallon (Clutch) Björk Alec Ounsworth (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!) Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys / D.O.A. / The Melvins / etc.) Frank Black (The Pixies / Frank Black) And some others probably.
Brian Molko from Placebo. His voice is different. I don't think theirs any singer who has a voice like his. lol
