What Tehcno sounding bit? There's nothing close to Techno there, not in that snippet. @Carnivores, I'm pretty sure those are supposed to be the orchestral elements, so it's unlikely that they'll be on the intro.
On my first listen I thought the scream was ....'so lets go'..but then I remembered what the song was called.
I thought this song was going to be very soft based on this reviews. Or maybe the rest is actually soft. ha
Chester's voice sounds really natural again in this clip, just like it does in GATS. That'll probably be the way it is on the entire album, which I like. It's the truest to his actual singing voice.
OMG SO AWESOME!!! Chester's Screaming is just sooo angry and kinda frustrated because "it's gone" completly love this song! Chester screams way better than he did in GATS imo.
The synth bit basically. It does sound kinda techno-ish and to people who are very critical of the "new" LP, they wouldn't notice the difference. Not that I care Chester doesn't scream in GATS. GATS was more about the rawness in his voice. You could tell that Chester was trying to not scream but sorta shout instead. This snippet is definitely screaming.
This excites me, he'll finally be able to pull new songs off live. He just strained his voice way to much on LT, to where they all sounded crap live.

This sounds epic as fucking shit Although I now see why Derek said somwhere on this forum it was the track that sounded the closest to old LP. There's that epic vibe some Meteora tracks had (From The Inside, Numb, ...). I also like that the so-called "softest" track out of the batch has screams. Which means that one of the heavier track won't have them, since Derek said there was screams in 4 of the tracks he listened to, GATS being one of the 2 other.
It kind of sounds like this is the ending of the song, which is probably the loudest part. So I presume, the screams are not there in the early bits of the track! I am ok with this either way!
I am waiting for tomorrow so I can hear the full track. But keep those reactions coming - It gets me even more excited
