Unfortunately, this isn't almost done. It will be a whole other day and probably beyond that! Sure, when it' s almost done, we'll probably see the image Derek posted yesterday but, if it were to be a video, EVERY PIXEL needs to get filled in. It's gonna be a very long while..

 

if i had to prioritize what this image/message will reveal, it'd be..

1.) catalyst video
2.) tracklisting (dont see how that will come out of this..unless they just change the image once all the pixels populate)
3.) album cover, same scenario as above.

is it really that far fetched that it will be a video or at least a larger (maybe 30sec?) sound clip of the catalyst?

Actually, not really. I have no idea what will possibly come out of this. I am almost certain that this WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CATALYST. The song will be released on August 2nd. If we hear it before than, it will be via leak. It is far to early to already show us the music vid. Also, on the botom it says 9.14.10. It wouldn't make sense for something related to The Catalyst on top of the release date for ATS.

 

The reason I say it's the album cover is because of the whole "set me free" thing. Why would we set a 30 second clip of the Catalyst free when we can hear the whole thing in less than two weeks? It could be another album hype video, but it just seems like too much buildup for that.

I really think we will get an album cover out of it.

 

i get like a sound effect, like a burst of energy sound if that makes sense?

 

Oh, I dont think the current image being revealed is the album cover. However, I do believe that once it is revealed, it will morph into the album cover.

 

It could be a hand print of someone. The whole "set me free" theme makes me think that whatever this picture is, it has to do something with someone either being locked up literally or metaphorically. It could have something to do with that hidden person in those pics of The Catalyst cover and Chester's pics. This whole thing makes me think that, this album is a loose concept album.

EDIT:It reminds me the hype Electronic Arts is building before the release of Need For Speed : Undercover. A mysterious website called WhichRoadToTake.com appears, and it contains a countdown, a super strange footage of interrogation.

I think there may be error with the website. I logged on to my Twitter and realized that none of my tweets last night went through even though I still got a thank you and that sound effect.

Plus, it seems as though some people think they can spam #AThousandSuns and reveal the image quicker...that doesn't work. One pixel per account.

AND to top it all off, not a lot of fans are tweeting. In one hour, I counted just over 60 original tweeters. If they average 60 original tweeters per hour, this will take days...
