Yeah, IMO that cover kinda sucks.

I don't think that's how they work, bud.

 

I know i was just hoping it would change to something better, i even prefer the pixel image to the one more "circular"

 

I prefer something completely different and more substantial.

 

I'll be blunt: I don't see the picture being complete until maybe Saturday. There's too much empty space.

 

Its not really that bad. Its basically a black sun with a buncha solar flares coming off of it and some white light over the edges right? With an album named a thousand suns its definitely fitting.

I would prefer that, but the similarity between the two images, is kinda big, so i'm leaning towards that being the real cover

 

I think the cover looks to much like Dead By Sunrise's Out of ashes Album Cover...and that way - unoriginal...it looks like something ANYONE could have an album to. Anyway idk if this is a big deal, but i got some different stuff on my mind...what does chester mean when he says on his Blog "Connect your twitter account to LinkinPark.com and set them free..." ...Set 'THEM' free... what is them? Posibly snippets of every song in the album? Possibly images of the album process? Quote and comment this guys, i find this quite interesting.

 

Okay, weird things that have happened in chronological order.

1. Mike tweets that there is a big announcement coming soon on twitter and it turns out soon is a few days away

2. A "Message" appears on linkinpark.com it's just an animated gif of static

3. That image slight changes and you can see

very dimly on a grey background.

4. We get a binary message that converts into a quote made of different languages

5. We get lyrics to a song with letters missing and when you figure them out they turn out to say The Catalyst

6. There is a notepad with a watermark that says The Catalyst /// August 2

7. There is another image which is actually a distorted LP logo puzzle, with a water mark that says A Thousand Suns // SEPTEMBER

8. Mike posts the single art work for The Catalyst and there is a man hidden inside of it

9. This man is also hidden in the artwork of linkinpark.com

10. An image appears where a logo use to be and then vanishes again just as quickly.

Also hasn't anyone actually read Sherlock Holmes ? The most unlikely occurance no matter how unplausible it may seem is usually the correct answer. that is, to paraphrase A. Conan. Doyle.

 

Actually, common belief is that the simplest explanation is the most likely one. It's called Occam's Razor. You're either completely off-base or typed 'unlikely' instead of 'likely.'

People need to try overlapping the last image on the lp site with this new image...it's obviously a new image because the top right hand corner is lighter.

The problem is that both the deliberate and accidental leak of that picture are equally as likely. When you look at the odds, they are not affected by prior outcomes.

Take a coin flip.

I flip a coin. It's heads.
I flip a coin. It's heads.
I flip a coin. It's heads.
I flip a coin. It's heads.

On my next flip, what are the odds that the next flip is heads? It's still 50/50. The evidence you've shown doesn't in the least affect the outcome or reasoning behind the image we've found.

 

You act like we're required to only discuss LP here.

Also, the debate pertains to LP (albeit on a tangent), so shhhhh.
