my linkin park dream concert would consist of the following songs (in order):

6. points of authority
7. runaway
8. by myself
9. faint
10. figure 0.9
11. from the inside
12. breaking the habit
13. forgotten
14. nobody's listening

( those 2 encore songs usually fire up the crowd )

i know this is a big ask from them, but they will be doing gigs with 25+ songs once their new album comes out.

by the way... i dont like it when LP do reanimation songs or cover songs live.

I doubt that they'll play anything more than 25. They'll consolidate their set-lists and only play the hits and some other random songs sooner or later.

Mike doesn't do any singing or screaming vocals on any of the songs. All you're hearing is Chester's vocals overlayed on top of each other. There is a such thing as a mixer, you know.

but in the one step closer (off hybrid theory) that is actually mikes voice singing "takes/coz me/im one step closer".

and in dont stay when mike sings "just give me myself back and dont stay" that the same type of singing he did on the recording on one step closer.

oh and not to double-post here.... dont stay at rock am ring 2004.... that was the intro at the start of it.... so 2 intros... no good

 

Em, Hole is by his old band, Grey Daze..... doubt Chester would be singing any Grey Daze song at a Linkin Park concert.

Wrong. He does the vocals live and he's shown performing them in the video but it's all Chester.

 

Yes, but Mike has sang along with Chester in Faint before. If you watch the Jigga What/Faint Live performance on the CC DVD, you'll see Mike singing ''I can't feel!'', and ''Time won't heal!''. And if you listen to Faint live on Jimmy Kimmel's show, you'll hear Mike sing those verses, as well as Chester. And it sounds good. Chester has his good and bad days, everyone knows, so sometimes when Mike helps out, it sounds better. But, the studio recording of Faint, you are right about that, as well as One Step Closer. I never really knew they could lap voices and stuff, I just listened to both and it sounds like Chester throughout the song.

 

yes, mike sometimes does that. back in 2001 he use to sing to the last chourus of in the end with chester. it sounded pretty good aswell. :whistle:

 

I was kinda thinking that the first intro would be playing while the guys where just getting ready...like not the whole time, but just to keep the crowd pleased and to tease them a bit...I state my full idea next time.

I know that Hole a grey daze song.....who doesnt Doesnt exactly mean that Chester wouldn't play it...

The topic was about posting your dream concert right....well thats exaclty what I did. I know it porbably wont happen, so I dont need everyone to tell me...hence my comment...

That all sounds great but if they just played a gig here in Antwerp next year (or when the new album is out) with they're new and old songs together would be awsome
