I read a review saying that it's worth seeing if you like the look of it but ultimately it's too over-ambitious for its capacity. I might see it on Monday when I have a day off, either that or I could try getting into The Hills Have Eyes.

Haha I was so close to making a thread about this. I saw V in an advance screening a few days ago, and I absolutely loved it. I've been hoping it gets good reviews, and I'm curious as to the reactions that ensue. I've seen plenty of uptight critics whining about the "terroristic promotion" and such, but I think there's a bigger message. It'll be interesting to see how people react as a whole to some of the messages in the movie. I also wouldn't try too hard to compare it to the Matrix, because it's just a different scenario. People whine about the supposed lack of action, but fail to appreciate the dialogue. Overall though, I thought it was the best film I've seen this year and I'm definitely gonna buy it when it comes out.

And yeah, the ending was amazing, along with a certain scene involving dominos. Sweetness.

    O rly?

(Sorry, I just couldn't resist that.)

And, I want to see it too. I can't really tell what type of movie it's going to be based on the previews, though, and I really don't trust reviews. I'll see it eventually.

Go watch 1984, or read the book. V For Vendetta just seems like a 1984 knock-off. But that's just me.

Super good. Totally exceeded my expectations, and they were already high. Not only does it entertain you, it makes you think. It's those movies that I love.

Thing is that I heard that this movie is like super-political and stuff. Which is the only reason I don't want to see this movie.
