    Mike just took to his blog to announce that the band has found their winner... and they will be announced this weekend.

    "We found our winner.

    In the past few weeks, the band, our management, MySpace, and our friends sifted through the thousands of submissions. We searched the top 100, and then we went deeper. Using randomly-generated recommendations on Indaba, and searching by date, we found 20 finalists.

    A few days ago, my bandmates and I listened to the top 20. We voted, and we’ve got a winner.

    The winner……will be announced be announced this weekend."

    Just a few more days of torture for the My Space: Featuring You Contest entrants, and the winner will be announced!

    Well all these delays only show that it was really important to the band to make sure the best remix was chosen. They didn't want to just randomly select one and put it on there...they actually gave a lot of remixes a listen. That's great!

    So they said they looked in the top 100. Well that rules me out. But I'm not sure if that is from the voting or some other system. Now I am deeply confused. Thanks Mike.

    I hope they don't pick one that sounds like Hybrid Theory/Reanimation/Meteora. That would go against the whole philosophy of ATS.

    hmmm, i wonder how good the mix is that they picked. He should have added a sentence that uses vibrant adjectives, in order to convey a mental picture of how good the remix is. I hope its not gigasythe.

    I can guarantee you the band didn't just look in the top 100. The band looked at random entries too. The band listened to as many as they could.
