I want more of a hip hop influence. But that's just me.

Something that combines soft/hard rock, orchestra, hip-hop, and whatever sound ATS was :awesome:

It shall be called..."Linkin Park" by Linkin Park.

    What's expected:
    -Unique and awesome instrumentals

    What I'd like to hear:

    -Strings
    -Mike rapping harder and faster
    -Another monster like High Voltage/Dedicated
    -Chester via Slow Ya Roll

Continue to go on there softer side because i seem to enjoy that side a lot more but still go back to there roots with hip hop a little. Waiting for the end is a perfect example. Maybe not be all over the place trying to experiment but focus on something. Still continue to grow in sound and lyrics

More songs where Mike & Chester's singing voices keep having hot and awesome sex with each other. like Iridescent. Ultimately, i don't really know what i want because i didn't know that i wanted A Thousand Suns until i stuck it into my CD player and blasted it. So i'm sure the band will do the same again. I prefer to be surprised than having my expectations met. So i'll leave it up to the band.

    lmao!

Jokes aside, I would like to see a little orchestra. Maybe get Phoenix to play a cello on some songs, and live as well? :D
Also, lessen up one bit on the hip-hop influence. Mash some real drums. Yeah, and grow even further lyrically.

That's more epic than ATS is, for me.
    Not complaining, love the album.

Didn't Phoenix track some cello for "A Thousand Suns"? Did any of that make it onto the album? :"

    LOL.

To me, I'd like them to experiment on even more genres. Anything differnet from their previous records = fine with me.
Oh, and I'd like to see the band members incorporate more skill into the songs. Ex. brad delson doing more solos, mike doing really fast rapping etc.

    I don't know. I haven't "tracked" the songs for a cello yet.
If they are, definitely not on the clearly-audible wall of the instruments.

Something completely different. One more album and everyone will be thoroughly confused! *rubs hands together and cackles* Like every CD will be just a wild card, like David bowie or something.

Oh and that would be awesome too. though i would be happy with ATS part 2 too.

I want their sound to get darker.

Granted, they've always been able to pull off angst and depression, but in a loud, booming way. I like more dark, creepy stuff.

Other than that, I dunno...it's hard to describe. A Thousand Suns wasn't as stereotypically "progressive" as people were making it out to be, so some more of that would be nice. I want to see LP's most musically intelligent side.

A few people nailed it. I want them to go back to the days where Mike raps in the majority of songs. It'd also be nice if they made their own sort of "progressive" thing. Take a song like Burning in the Skies and add a rap verse in there somewhere. I want more 5 minutes monsters like The Catalyst. But they can never go wrong with stuff like Wretches and Kings.

I'll like whatever they put out though to be honest. I'm in love with every aspect of this band and they'd have to make an effort to create a bad album.
