what i learned from doing linkin park remakes

    so as you know i have done some remakes

    what i learned
    - the song usually starts with a pad or a bleeping synth
    (reverse pads can be created with REV output kontakt plugin http://output.com/

    - the bass is usually low at c1 or c5 oactaves
    - the bass is filtered and sometimes a synth bass rather then acoustic guitar bass

    - the guitars are different, layer of guitar panned left and right in the stereo field

    - mike or chester voice uses autotune or melodyne pitc correction

    the drums can be recreated using addictinve drums 2 or toontrack ez drummer

    the piano is filtered with removed high end and some distortion

    gutiar use amprack or guitar rig 5 for distortion
