Apparently there is a Demo of "What I've Done" because if you watch the D'Fused Making of What I've Done... in the LAST scene before the Music Video is shown, you see Chester talking while the sun is setting in the background. He is saying ..."We're done, it's a wrap. What I've Done is now literally something that I've done."

If you listen to the end of "What I've Done" playing in the background, you can hear an alternate ending to the song.

The ending of the song that we know ends with mike saying:

    "NaNa Na Na, NaNa Na...."

The ending played while Chester is speaking goes:

"NaNa Na Na, NaNa Na NA!"

though it's a minor detail, i think it's better left out as is on the cd.

It's not a demo. It's a version with an extra "na".

But seeing as it was further edited to eventually become the song on the album, I'd call it a Demo.

I don't know how you can call a song that sounds exactly the same except for one extra syllable a "demo". This isn't even worth talking about.

Sorry to waste your time. I figured since this was further edited to produce the actual song, it was a demo. What do you call it?

I call it an alternate take. A demo is an unfinished song. This is clearly finished, it just has one extra... vocalization.

    Okay, it's an alternate version.

So do you guys like it better or worse?

I like it better with the final na, kind of sets the ending for the song a lot better. I usually sing it with the extra anyway.
