I recently got the iPhone 5, and I absolutely love it. What phones do you guys currently own or are considering buying?

    I have an HTC One V. It's nice for a pre-paid Android.

LTE is faster than my home Wi-Fi... Now that is fast as hell.

iPhone 5. It's making my home mac look slow. The phone surfs the wifi at ridiculous speeds. I'm loving this.
By the way, what cases are you guys using?

HTC EVO 3D, its pretty beat up. I need to upgrade desperately. I want the EVO 4G LTE.

After seeing how tough the phone is, I'm going with no case at the moment. Eventually though, I'm considering the Otterbox Defender ($22 on Amazon) or the Griffin Survivor ($35 on Amazon).

How tough? I'd disagree but that's up to you. I have the black so there's a strong possibility of it being scratched. I personally hate covering up such a beauty so I generally like minimalistic cases. And I found the perfect case but it's $40 and I'm not spending the money. However, I found the Belkin Grip Shear in Orange/Black that perfectly compliments my phone so I'm going with that ($15 on Amazon).

I hate Otterboxes because of their size and I wouldn't recommend Griffin if I were you because I've read reviews where the case gets scratched up badly and where the case actually scratches the phone

I have the black iPhone as well, and I haven't gotten any scratches. I heard something about the launch black iPhones easily scratching, but the units after are okay.

The thin plastic cases don't help much in a drop. I love keeping my phone as-is, and if I get a scratch on the back, it's not a big deal to me.

My phone shipped to me with a tiny tiny notch but it's barely noticeable. In fact, I can't even find it half the time.

And I agree that thin cases don't have drop protection. However, I never drop my phone so I'm not worried about that. I only fear scratches. But I'm getting a mid range case so it's perfect.

I have an Amzer case for my HTC and it works out great. They make cases for iPhones too.

Go with the Evo. Much more convenient having music on your phone rather than on a seperate device.
