Just watched Michael Clayton for the first time since I saw it in theaters 3 years ago. Really awesome movie. Really makes you think.

Edit: I just finished watching Battle Royale. One of the better movies I've seen recently.

The Social Network - over-hyped, overrated and certainly not Oscar worthy. Disappointing screenplay, actors were top-notch but sometimes felt plain retarded (like the twins), dialogues were well-constructed and were the only highlights of the entire movie. The ending also came out of nowhere.

Saw Macgruber. It was horrible. For everyone. And that includes you.

    Tsk tsk.

I watched Princess Mononoke again recently. Still as awesome if not more awesome than the first time I watched it.

Kind of a contradictory statement there. The dialogs are part of the screenplay

Exit Through The Gift Shop - 4.5/5 (Documentary)
Now after watching the film I've read a lotta claims on the net saying the whole thing is a hoax orchestrated by Banksy. I won't go into that and try to judge the movie based on what I saw.

As a film about graffiti and street art and how it portrays the artists, I really enjoyed the movie, but Teddy's end of the story bugged me. The way his story plays out just makes him come across as a dumb guy who is a thrill-junkie, who accidentally gets wrapped in the street art world with no previous connection to it. By the end it was just embarrassing to see this guy try so hard to come off as a true artist, when in reality he didn't even put a single stroke on the canvas, but instead hired people to do it for him, with him soaking in all the praise. All of it just made me hate him as a character. I don't know what the movie was trying to say by the end, because it seemed to go in a completely different direction from where it started.

But yeah, like I said I really enjoyed the street art exploration aspect of it. Also, more importantly, I got the impression that they very subtly raised the question of what should be considered as art and what shouldn't, and that was done very impressively imo.

    Easy A - 3/5
Nice little coming off age type dramedy. The dialogs came off as a little too pretentious and snappy, and I thought tonally, at points, it went a tiny bit overboard with the seriousness. It was still a quite enjoyable watch.

Dinner For Schmucks. Late, I know. It's labeled as a comedy but I felt so depressed throughout the whole thing, and so sorry for Steve Carell's character the entire time. Not to say it was a bad movie because it was pretty funny and had a good storyline, but I felt so BAD for the guy the entire time. Yay for happy endings, however.

Just finished Devil - what the fuck? M. Night needs to go into hiding and come back only when he can do something right for the world.

Oh, and I saw 40-Year-Old Virgin for the first time. Unrated, too. FUN.NY. :awesome:

Just saw Scott Pilgrin Vs. The World. I hate Michael Cera and was hesitant to see it from the ridiculously looking previews. But everything was amazing. Solid 8/10.

I couldn't decide which one of Scott's girlfriends was hotter. Damn cute Asian.

" as per usual, fantastic " - That implies that I have seen each film before.

Both on opening day, mind you ;)

*Pilgrim. And Ramona, AKA Mary Elizabeth Winstead, was the hottest piece of ass on screen during that entire movie. And then some.

Takers, and it was crap. The big heist at least gave credit to The Italian Job when they ATTEMPTED to pull it off as well. Seemed like it had a lot of potential and then flopped. Flopped bad.
