I think I talked about this earlier in the thread. Such a good movie. Glad to see some Korean love in this thread from someone besides me.

    The Soloist - 8/10
Absolutely beautiful film. Loved almost every bit of it.

Planet Of The Apes (Remake)- 6/10

Eh, it was on and I decided to watch it. Not a terrible movie, but it was pretty humorous in parts that weren't intended on being all that funny at all. I'm really hoping that Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes (damn that's a long ass title ) is a better reboot than this one was, and actually improves on the franchise as a whole.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - 4.5/5

Absolutely loved it. The only reason it's not a 5/5 is because there are other 2011 movies that WERE better than it, but it's still damn good. Andy Serkis is a BEAST.

Captain America - 1 / 10. Film sucked ass. Worst film i've ever seen, so boring and far fetched.

    Lolol^

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - 8/10

Story was actually put together really well. I was very surprised. The trailer made it look laughable. I'm looking forward to seeing the sequels.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes: Meh/10

Idk. I guess I was going in expecting more action. In general I don't mind a good build up but since I already knew what was going to happen I wish they could have cut to the chase a little more. I don't really know what to rate it. It wasn't bad though.

    Scream 4: 1/10

I will forever love the first one. I can even tolerate the second and third film, but a fourth was not needed at all. The acting was dreadful and stale. Please don't let there be a fifth.

    The Cats of Mirkitani (8/10)

Interesting documentary about an 80 something year old homeless Japanese American "Grandmaster Artist" who survived both the internment camps during WWII and the 9/11 attacks on the WTC. I really enjoyed it being Japanese American myself who also had family fucked over by the US Government. His art style is pretty good too, it's like a hybrid of traditional Japanese woodblock style prints and what kid's crayon drawings look like. I'd check it out if you're into art or history. It was sad, funny and inspirational

    The Bank Job - 7.8/10

Awesome film to watch, and definitely one of the better Statham movies I have seen.

    The Score (2001) - 3/5
A notch above your average heist/thriller film. Got some great suspenseful scenes but overall it doesn't strive to be different. The "twist" at the end was completely unnecessary.

    Your Highness (2011) - 2/5
Disappointing. Expected it to be really funny based on the pool of talent involved! It was a major let down. But I still did like certain parts.

    Prince of Darkness (1987) - 3/5
80's camp mixed with some genuinely creepy visuals. The score was great as well. There should totally be a sequel to this!

    Inside(2007) - 3/5
Another gorefest in the long line of French new-wave horror. Absolutely gut-wrenching and bloody. The story was pretty straight forward which I found a little underwhelming. A little more twist and turns in the plot would've made the movie a lot more enjoyable for me. But despite that I loved it!

    Evil Dead (1981) - 4.5/5[/B]
I can't believe Sam Raimi made this when he was 21! This was so well crafted... every shot had a purpose. Very bloody, genuinely scary at points. Basically it has every right to be a cult classic it is today.

The Pixar Story (2007)- 4/5 (Documentary)
Chronicles the inception and operation of Pixar Studios. Great watch! It made me want to really work at Pixar haha.

Watched loads of other films which are slipping my mind atm. Will list em later.

TCM's Moguls & Movie Stars, a seven-part documentary on the rise of Hollywood and its studio system. It was fun, but not especially substantive since it has to cover so much ground.

The Limey: another fine example of Soderbergh's ability to vitalize a thin plot.

Miral: strong performances undermined by meaninglessness.

    Thor (2011) - 1.5/5
It wasn't Thorrible... but it was pretty Thordinary :awesome:. Bad writing, predictable plot, horrible character developments. I kind of liked the action sequences in Asgard, but those weren't enough to save this film for me. Disappointing watch.
