Glad you enjoyed it. For me it was one the worst movies I have seen in like the past 5 years or so. Was awful for me.

I can't remember all the ones I've watched since I last posted.

Savages - 7.5/10. Really weird story. Way better than I thought based off of the ratings. There's a lot of cool stuff going on.

Total Recall - 7/10. Also way better than I thought based off of the ratings. I haven't seen the Schwarzenegger one, nor have I read the story the movie was based on. But I thought the world that was created was awesome, everything looked great, and the action was entertaining. The story kept me interested as well. Not to mention the two main women in the movie are 10s.

    Wreck-It-Ralph: 9/10
Fun movie. even without the nestalgia. I loved Jane, Jack, and Sarah's performances.

The Man With The Iron Fists: 6/10
Another fun movie. Better than I thought it would be. However if you dont know or like the direction RZA was taking, you might not like it.

The Girl With The Dragon Tatoo: 8
    (500) Days of Summer: 8
American History X: 8. Norton's acting in the final scene sucked. I really didn't like it, but the rest of the movie was really good
    Snatch: 8
American Gangster: 8. Denzel is awesome

And I just have to say that Dexter is fucking amazing. With season 7, it's a 10 for me

007 Skyfall: Now that's more like it/10. Review next Friday, but suffice it to say, I loved it. Haven't enjoyed a Bond that much since Goldeneye.

    Skyfall - 8/10

It felt hollow. The villain was great but didn't have really any significant character development which seemed like a big mistake. I've seen 20 of the 23 Bonds and this one is one of the best overall movies, but far from the best Bond movie. I don't see why these last few have been so off. Casino Royale had a better Bond feel to it and was probably more enjoyable to me. It'd be nice to see someone take Bond's character to new heights while still retaining his original traits. The Bourne-like nature of these new movies is fine, but they lack the connection other older Bond films bring. Now Bond is just a henchman.

I haven't seen the new movie but I think I generally agree with this. Just little more of the old movies mixed in there would be nice.

    Total Recall: 7.5
    Ted: 7.5

Both nice films. However Total Recall could have been much better with better dialogue

Flight - 10/10. Excellent movie. Denzel was great in it.

Plus, the first scene is at a landing strip and I'm not talking about an airport :quagmire:

In all serious though, great movie.

    End Of Watch - 4/5

All around fun movie. I'm sad I had to see a leaked DVD rip on my laptop as opposed to experiencing it in a theatre, because I'm sure seeing it in that environment is a lot better. Interesting mix of cop, found footage horror, and even a little noir. I felt like maybe they could have done a little more with the characters, but still. Recommended to anybody.

Well, to use a cliche, he is a Bond villain.

Skyfall. 9/10. I'm not seeing how people were let down by the third act. I loved it.

Watched "Contagion" at one in the morning. Well-written story performed by an amazing cast, solid cinematography, effective music, unusual but interesting pacing which made up for its really long running time. The trailer probably makes it seem action-packed, which is a little misleading.

But, yeah, it was quite the experience to watch. I particularly loved the montages scattered throughout the film

Definitely an interesting watch. It wasn't bad by any means, but I wouldn't say it's great either.

Ted (2012) - 3/5 - Has some really funny dialogs but loses the edginess with the predictable/cheesy plot.

    Looper (2012) - 4/5 - One of the year's best.

Yeah, I enjoyed Looper too. Although JGL looked too fucking weird and it distracted me.
