Inside Llewyn Davis - 3/4 - Got to see a really early screening of this film (and the lead, Oscar Isaac, was there!). It's the usual, flavorful Coen Brothers humor, but this time, with less plot, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's more of a musing on the folk music scene during that time period. At times, almost feels like a depressing folk musical. Many will probably leave the film feeling bored or empty, but I enjoyed the experience because of the levity and humor the Coen Brothers are able to give it.

    Also, Carey Mulligan mmm

As good as Natalie Portman is, I felt a little awkward watching Hayden Christensen. Plus, more nostalgia with I. [III > I > II; V > VI > IV (i think that's right, might have to re-watch them too)].

Thor: The Dark World - 4.5 out of 5

Thor’s second solo outing is 112 minutes of Game of Thrones’ Alan Taylor successfully undoing all the garbage Kenneth Branagh created, whilst creating a more real-feeling place for the Asgardian in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Full review here - spoilers included.

I Saw The Devil - 5/5 - Now this is a Korean revenge flick

    Zack & Miri Make a Porno - 4/5 - I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I was going to.

The battle in the snow was actually cut extremely short. The extended version will be on the upcoming home video releases of which includes much more action and blood.

Oh, and there's this as well:

But yup. Better than Origins, but a bland run of the mill production overall.

You guys wanted a movie watched by me? Arright, try this one on for size: The Thief and the Cobbler - The Recobbled Cut. It's not a great movie for its story or anything, but the art and animation is gorgeous. Read about it below:

And also check it out on YouTube. It's kind of awesome.

The suit was a nice little nod. And yes, it was way too bland. Only if Aronofosky had stuck around to direct :/

Prisoners (2013) - 5/5 - Loved this film to bits. From the gloomy doom-like setting to the acting, everything worked so well. And I thought Hugh Jackman was brilliant! Also didn't see the twist coming.. had me all WTF

    The Game: 8.5/10

Probably my least favorite Fincher film. [Haven't seen Alien^3]

    Fight Club: 9.5/10

Just watched it for the second time. Loved the clues given all over for the big reveal.

Such a ridiculous film. Don't know why many people consider it to have a great twist. The twist makes no sense at all and sucks.

Clerks 2 (2006) - 1.5/5 - Very bland and predictable comedy. Not nearly as funny and sharp witted as Clerks 1.

    Rosario Dawson tho!

    what was the twist?

Prisoners, A-. I'm getting annoyed with these fucking ambiguous movie endings. On the other hand, dope soundtrack.

I didn't specifically see her being the one behind it all. Not even after Hugh Jackman went back to her place to ask about the maze. They masked her involvement very well imo. Also I guess I was engrossed in the story to even rack my brain trying to figure who it could be....

    Spoilers

007: Skyfall 10/10- Fucking perfect, brilliantly shot, great villain that will go down with the best, and original but with perfectly blended nostalgia ( I yelped over Moneypenny). The one thing I can never forgive is killing off Judi Dench. Judi Dench was my bottom bitch

Might want to put a spoiler warning in there. I personally don't care, but you will definitely get bitched at for it by someone, lol.

    Prisoners - 4 out of 5

Some of the best suspense I've seen in a while but Jake Gyllenhaal's super slow, oblivious detective pissed me the fuck off.
