I mean there could be surprises along the way but if both artists deliver to their maximum capabilties, The 1975 and Chvrches should be my top 2 at the end of the year.

Quite good, this band doesn't disappoint. I'm thinking of seeing them live, Lauren must be a great singer live. I thought the chorus would be a bit more striking, but it will certainly come after some listens. They sound quite similar to Every Open Eye, not trying something new, but what they do, they do it right.

EDIT: I hope the new album can make a deep impact and be one of the best sellers of the year, but that's almost impossible becuase they are indie pop/electropop. In terms of quality I don't see many thing being better, probably only Avril Lavigne or Arctic Monkeys. I still don't know if I'll choose to see Chvrches or Arctic Monkeys, but I'm leaning more towards Chvches, because I'd go for Arctic Monkeys mostly for Favorite Worst Nightmare songs and that's far gone now.
