According to a news article released about Holly Brook and Fort Minor, "Where'd You Go" will be the next single to hit the US charts. Holly Brook has accompanied Fort Minor on several of their US tour dates, and soon will be going on a 'mini-tour' to promote her upcoming Machine Shop Record's debut release "Like Blood, Like Honey". Little is known about the release date of Holly's album except that it will be released sometime this year.

    Tour Dates Follow:

    Date Venue City

January 9 Monterey Live Monterey, CA
January 10 Make-Out Room San Francisco, CA
January 11 The Attic Santa Cruz, CA
January 14 Tangier Los Angeles, CA

Thanks to Chris for the news!

oh please god no.....dont get me wrong, the song instrumentally is great and Holly has a beautiful voice....but I think this song has easily the worst lyrics on the album

Hmm, I'm not a big fan of the song & I think Fort Minor should have released something different, because to me, this song doesn't reflect Fort Minor as much as other tracks off the record do. The only upside to releasing this song from my perspective is that it will shed some light on Holly Brook which she deserves, but other than that, bad choice in my opinion.

Sure, this song is catchy & very radio friendly, but that's not what I want from Fort Minor. I'd rather they release something that showcases Mike's rapping ability rather than a ballad that will get album sales. Which goes against the "underground" release they were looking for, but, if Mike wants album sales then kudos, because no doubt he'll get it with this track.

Hell, Mike should release Spraypaint and Inkpens as a single.

mike should have got jay z on one of his songs and released that as his first single. he could easily be platinum right now. its a shame this album isn't being marketed well because its really good.

I wish it was either 'In Stereo', 'Red To Black' or 'Out The Back'.

What the heck are you talking about? Jay still guests on songs like crazy. Kanye West's "Diamonds From Sierre Leone" anyone? He's retired from albums, not from rapping period.

He's going to get money with this, and he's going to get some attention to Holly Brook, but he shouldn't release this.

Yeah, this was a poor choice for a single, however, the other two bombed so bad they probably want to go for something entirely different...

Yeah, this is as pop as it gets. Considering RTN and Petrified were both shit singles, maybe they think this will get the TRL crowd and the sales.

not surprised this is the next single really....
i could see "High Road" or "Red to Black" or possibly "Kenji" as being a single, too... not to mention "In Stereo" or "Cigarettes" =) basically just naming my fav's from the cd, too haha. any of them could be a single pretty much.

I don't think that Where'd You Go was the best choice for the next single but at leased it's going to attract a wider audience to Fort Minor...

It's a smart move for that reason alone.

How is this a poor choice for a single? It appeals to a mainstream artist AND it promotes Fort Minor and Holly Brook at the same time.
