lol .I never heard the f-word anywhere on the album. It doesn't have a
sticker on it.anyway i don't think anyone of them give the background vocals.i don't know why album cover mentions that
do you understand the concept of backing vocals. They sing as background to add depth.
Background vocals, no real parts like chaz or mike have.
Im answering as a clueless fan and I think that they sing along because they're really into their songs. [/b][/quote]
I think ur right guy...... theyre just really into their songs n sing-a-long n plus i didnt hear brad say the f word at all in one step closer

Hehe, he doesn't... :chemist:
All the members who do not have a part as a vocalist usually just sing along in the background. That's why it's called, "Background" vocals.
Also, vocalists get a larger percentage of CD sales than other band members, so if everyone add vocals, (even if you can't hear them) to the album they will all get a fairly equal share from the record label
Quite devious really!
yea... i heard they have backgroung vocals.... and i want to know too...
well,on a lp tv episode(#5 i think),i saw brad(in the studio)in front of a microphone,wearing headphones(i don't think they were his headphones)and singing something for a couple of seconds. but i really don't know...
Meh...in lptv 5, brad sings really badly
i'm not quite sure about this, but if you listen to the track "easier to run" in meteora, you can hear some backing vocals in mike's lyrics:
"if i could change, i would. take back the pain ,i would. retrace every wrong move that i made, i would..."
and the second verse of the song there are backing vocals in chester's lyrics. the part where chester sings "sometimes i remember the darkness of my past..."
and i think there are backing vocals in"forgotten" too
i'm not sure about the other songs though.
i hope this answers everyone's question
I NO INO!!!!!!!!

cuz wen they go "and then its all gone" its sounds like 3 extra "lighter" voices singing, not only but the others 2!!!
i hope i helped!

Anyway, I heard somewhere that Phi can actually sing quite well, but for now I will go with the theory that they put "Background Vocals" in the liner notes for extra credit.
I'm going to kill this thread.
There are no background vocals. Chester does all of the singing on the album and his voice is often layered to make it sound like there is more than one person singing when, in fact, it is only Chester with layered vocals. Mike only does the rapping on the albums. The reason Mike sings those parts live and is shown singing them in the videos is because Chester can't possibly sing two things at once, whether it's in a music video or not. They put in the liner notes that the rest of the band does backing vocals to deceive fools who have no idea what Pro Tools is.
