I've seen two shows... The first was when Evanescence had their first big headlining tour last year, and they were with The Juliana Theory, 12 Stones, and Reach454. Evanescence was amazing, as can be expected, though everyone was surprised when Paul McCoy (12 Stones) didn't come out for "Bring Me To Life" (too bad, I say); The Juliana Theory completely blew me away; 12 Stones had a really energetic and awesome show; and, finally, Reach454 was, to put it bluntly, terrible. I saw Finger Eleven this spring, and they were with No Motiv, Edgewater, and Idle Sons. Finger Eleven put on an amazing show, although they didn't play some of the fan-favorites ("First Time," "Drag You Down," "Sick Of It All"); No Motiv was really awesome and really energetic; Edgewater was ridiculously amazing, words can't really describe it; and, last but not least, Idle Sons ripped up the stage as the opening band, they were great. I'll be seeing Projekt Revolution on August 5th, too. I can't wait for it. It's going to be wicked.
2 shows… Evanescence Finger Eleven Full Scale Tapered Edges Magic Dirt Jebediah MGF Betchadupa 28 Days I will also be seeing Blink 182 twice on September 3 and 4 with Gyroscope and Sparta. I will also see Tapered Edges again soon and I might see The Living End as well.
I've been to one actual concert: 7th February 2004: A Perfect Circle supported by Melissa Auf Der Maur, in Manchester UK. But bands I've seen at my Uni and clubs and things are probably less well known, but are: Kill2This British Sea Power Kuki Chesney Hawkes  Hebephrenic and I saw the last song from Million Dead when they played. Other bands that have played my uni that I haven't seen: The Darkness The Stills Supergrass I didn't see them because it was like a proper concert sort of idea, the others just played in the club. I did meet The Darkness though, they came into the club after their show and rocked out with us for a while.
Funeral For A Friend (Onelinedrawing, Million Dead and The Haunted supporting) Bowling For Soup (Simple Plan, CapDown & Uncle Brian supporting) Bowling For Soup (Jesse James & Farse supporting) Stories & Comets (An American Obsession & TwoDayLate supporting) Stories & Comets (An American Obsession, TwoDayLate, FailSafe & The New Lev Yashin supporting) Stories & Comets, Bloc Party, Mercedes, Electric 6 and others (As part of the Middlesbrough Music Live Festival)
I first saw LP back in Feb. and I'm going to PR in August..they were with SOTY, Hooba, and P.O.D in Feb. I have also seen Evanescence with Default, Trapt with ,Strata, Smile Empty Soul and Finger Eleven and Mushroomhead with Dope and Soil.
Linkin Park, Hoobastank, POD, Story Of The Year (1/17/04-Worcester Centrum) Billy Joel, Elton John (Date Forgotten-Pepsi Arena) Simon and Garfunkle, Everly Brothers (6/10/04- Pepsi Arena) Backstreet Boys (Long ago- Pepsi Arena)
I've only been to one, but the bands were: The Living End (they were the best part of the concert) Something Corporate (I didn't like them much) Good Charlotte (this was where I met my first teenie)
The first concert i went to was Godsmack and Mushroomhead. Mushroomhead was a decent opener they put on a cool show but their equipment broke in the middle of their set and they only ended up playing like 5 or 6 songs. The headliner Godsmack was really awesome, if you ever get a chance and you like Godsmack i suggest you go see em live. The next concert i went to was Finger Eleven, Closure, and Idle Sons. I didn't know Idle Sons at the time but they put on a good opening show and got the crowd into it. Then next came closure and they put on a fantastic show that kept teh crowds energy going into Finger Eleven. The came Finger Eleven and they put on one kickass show that I'll never forget. Guitarist James Black was incredible along with fellow guitarist Rick Jackett. Rich Beddoe was amazing on the drums. These guys had so much energy it was amazing. The only knock on this concert was that during the encore they a song that i didn't recognize. Still to this day i don't know what song it was. The last concert that i've seen was Thornley and Tupelo Honey. Tupelo Honey put on a really incredible show, I was blown away by there performance because i wasn't expexcting much from them. Then Thornley came out and put on a decent show. Ian Thornley is the sh!t, they kept hardcore fans in it by playing a handfull of Big Wreck tunes. I've also seen Default and Stabilo put on a small accoustic show at my work, for what they were working with the shows were decent.
Ryan Cabrera Ashlee Simpson Clay Aiken Kelly Clarkson Keith Urban Maroon 5 From First To Last Halifax He Is Legend Emanuel The Click Five a shit load of local bands
Holy Shit you just brought back a year old thread. I think that's the biggest Necropost I've seen in a long time.
not many good bands come to hawaii, but i've seen most of them that have come: my chemical romance, afi, hoobastank, papa roach, yellowcard, jimmy eat world, national product, rise against, opening bands that were cool (here ends the bands whose shows i actually wanted to go to)........... reel big fish, go jimmy go, unwritten law, pennywise, pepper, flogging molly, new found glory, crappy opening bands i don't remember.
wtf. It was on the front page for new posts?! Someone must have posted and then deleted before me.
I just thought it was funny. I believe you.
I just thought it was funny. I believe you.
But seriously. That's not the point. I'm confused now.
I was going to see The Used This Tuesday, but they canceled it because of some problems with another band touring w/ them!!!!!I was so excited, oh well. Just wait until next time.
