how many times have linkin park preformed wish by NIN??

    i think they're done it 2 or 3 times in 2003 & 2004

i know theres stuff about this song in the "non album" forum... but it says "on numerous ocassions"

so does anyone have the exact figure?

I only heard this song being played by LP at rock'am'ring and at another concert but I don't know where it was but I know it was something about charity

I've heard it been played at Projekt Revolution and AM Ring, but no where else. I think they only did it twice.

I think they did it on every PR show. Just because there are only 2 live versions of them, doesnt mean that they only played it twice.

I am convinced that they played it at the European festivals (Portugal, Germany, Donnington=3x) and at every PR Show (=33x).
So, they did it around 36 times.

Yeah, I guess you're right. They probably played Wish more then twice.

First show they played it at was June 3rd, 2004, last show they played it at was September 11, 2004. They did it at every show between those dates except the show they filmed for Collision Course, which is about 40 shows.

Yeah, '04. My bad. And I'm pretty sure they did play it at every show, because LP kept basically the same setlist for that whole time period. I've personally heard it at 8 shows, 7 recorded ones plus the show I went to.

Mike does play guitar in Wish, but he basically plays the same thing as Brad, just an octave higher.

I think it was a good choice to be the second last. It gets the crowd pumped up for the almost last time.

What I'd be interested to know is what NIN would think of it...

I like the LP version of wish better than the nine inch nails version. Why? Chesters vocals are better defined easier to understand and have more power to them. That's why?!
Not only that, the song was slightly changed to give it an edge according to the media. But wow 40 times....Amazing truly amazing... ^_^

I'd like to hear a non-edited version. >_< The only one I got is on the LPU 4.0 CD, and all the naughty words are flipped backwards... making it sound awefully strange.
