The song is great. The beat is amazing, and the sound is really catchy. I love Chester's vocals in this song. However, I felt (or wanted) like something was about to happen towards the end; a bridge, another chorus, or something unexpected, but it just ends with the speech and the 'hey hey' chant. That makes it a bit repetitive, and monotonous. Anyway, I'd give it a 8/10.

Only gripe I have is that is suddenly ends. I'm sure it'll lead right into the next track though.

I definitely see what the XFM dude means when he said Rap, but not Rap/Rock like we are used to.

Let's not forget Blackout is directly connected to this song, which is Chester taking the first place. So in a whole i'd say it will sound perfect.

The speech has to be repeated because the one on the intro was cut.

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all." – Mario Savio, Sproul Hall Steps, December 2, 1964

He's an old-school hip-hop head. This is late 80s-early 90s kind of flow. Accent and all... I think this is a dope ass tribute and I think he's way more flexible when out of the "rap/rock" element

IMO this will fit more on MTM, rather than HT or Meteora.
Probably it'd be between Hands Held High and No More Sorrow.

This song makes me want to rebel and go fight and kill someone. I love the feel about the new album. About the destruction of the world and stuff like this. I cant even listen to old LP songs now cause this is just fucking ridiculous

Oh God. No one has noticed yet. Fucking brilliant.

After listening to this song about 6 times now, and listening to the lyrics, I'm absolutely certain that this is a massive piss take from the band. It's hilarious.

For a start, the music is so nu metal it's like it's been airlifted from 1999. So, that draws all the "WE WANT OLD LINKIN PARK BACK" people in. Now, listen to the lyrics. It's basically a fuck you from Mike and Chester to those fans, saying we aint ever going to remake that sound. Hell yeah. To top the whole thing off, both of them have sang/rapped in an hilariously reggae/foreign accent. Absolutely fantastic.

There's a reason they sent out this song. They're geniuses.

I'm going to start a new thread about this so people don't miss it.

    LP FTW LOL.
