why is chester shouting insanely in he end part of the song...it kinda spoils d song for me...i never understood d reason behind his screaming... anyone..???
It's kinda like asking why does Chester scream the way he does in general? Because it's how the band planned the song out to be. Emphasizes frustration I suppose.
Whhaaatt?? I totally love that part, It's like the last burst of energy from something that's about to end (in fact that it is)!
Honestly, I love that part because for one, it's a variation of the chorus, and second, because that part is what comes after you think the song is ending. It's unexpected, and I love that. It keeps the song interesting.
What MKH said. Those vocals were always in the song, the band just had trouble figuring out what to do with them...nobrain helped with that.
my question was in relation with d song...not his screamin.... wel...i always press 'forward' when the song comes to last 34 sec section.... and..i prefer d chorus in d song..not the varition one..
The vox at the end is the lead melody for that outro section, which is the song's climax. It's presumably designed as a chorus that's been taken up a notch, a change to keep the song interesting (you could relate it metaphorically to the band and their career ...) and take away from repetition.
The song is meant to have a middle eastern feel. The vocals at the end are meant to be in the style of said music. At least, that's what the band was trying to accomplish.
This is like the time someone asked, "Why do you guys keep acting like Mike Shinoda did most of the work on 'A Thousand Suns'?" We had answers but none that would make sense to anyone who asked.
Its one of the best traits on the album. Like a middle eastern theme going on there. Its what makes the song IMO. Crazy percussion and vocals that are harder than fuck to sing along with. A fucking + NoBrain did an amazing job helping on this one.
I don't think there is a specific reason other than LP just wanted to put that bit in there because it sounds FUCKING MIND BLOWING. The chanting middle eastern vocals at the end of WTCFM fit so well in my opinion. NoBrain did an AMAZING job. This is now my favourite song ever and the last 34 seconds is my favourite part of the ENTIRE album. Sometimes I just listen to that part over and over again. It actually sounds even better if you hear it live. OH EM GEE.
If I'm listening to the whole album, I'll play it through and I'll be slightly amused at best. But other than that, I myself will hit next before that part starts. I do like what they were trying to do, and it's better than nothing or rather just having the song end there. As Louis said, it's unexpected.
I specially wait for that part to start. The energy Chester puts in is amazing. And Chester's intro to that 34 seconds is fucking epic, even live.
