Last night I discovered Huey Mack, an 18 year old rapper from West Virginia who is pretty good. I like him even more now after downloading his mixtape and listening to this song, which uses the "Lift me up, let me go" part of The Catalyst as the foundation of it. It was actually pretty good. The only complaint I have is an entire 30 seconds of a white guy rapping "she she she lift me up, she she she let me go". It gets tiring even when Mike and Chester do it after like 3 plays of the song, lol.
I like this. Except the hook is absolutely terrible. It has me craving for a more well acclaimed MC to try something similar.
