I'm looking to buy an mp3 player but don't know which one I should get. I was hoping someone that has an mp3 player could help me out on which ones/one I should get.
I've got a RioVolt SP100 MP3/CD player. Works like a dream. All you need is a cd burner, and then you can burn 700mbs of mp3's onto a cd, which is much more than you'll get on a regular mp3 player (save the iPods, jukeboxes, and other expensive mp3 players).
I'd have to go along with Todd on this one. I have seen my mates iPod and it looks great. The sound on it is amazing and you can store sooo many songs on it
I would agree with Todd but iPods are simply overpriced. the mpio fy 200 is the one i want to get. small and lots of features.
i dont even have one... why not get a discman instead and put your mp3s on a cd? its wasting money. i think. well if you have money go and get it. or get a discman with a mp3 player inside oOoOo *feels smart*.
I have a pikaone le stick. Its completely crap, the sound is crap it only holds about 20 songs and it doesn't work very well in general. It was a waste of £65 . You could wait on th Ipod mini's coming out they are supposed to be less expensive. I may purchase one of those if I save like mad.
Are you thinking of getting a CD player that can play MP3 CDs, or MP3 players that you transfer songs into memory?
I prefer the Iriver line of Mp3 Players. Just my personal preference. I DON'T like Ipod because, (1) it dosent have upgrade-able firmware, meaning if a new or better format other than MP3 was introduced, you could upgrade and get that new format. (2) its WAY TOO POPULAR!! I see at least 15 different people with Ipods everyday. Its just uncool. I dont like being in the 'in' crowd (except with Verizon wireless, are you in?) And personally, I believe Ipod is OVERRATED. The sound quality is O.K., its not really a focus of apple. BUT, If you're new to this whole MP3 player thing, go with Ipod. Its easy to use, its compact, its pretty, what more could one ask for? I might consider Ipod if they release one that dosent lack firmware upgrade. And thats my 2 cents
OK, contrary to what most of you have said I have decided to go with the Ipod. I will get it for christmas. I know most of you are going *holly crap thats a long time!!!!* but I can hopefully wait that long because the one I want has 40.00GB of memory and can hold 10,000 songs!!! But, unfortunantly it costs $49.99 . *sigh* o well.
Here is my MP3 Player Napa Napa MP3 Player Voice PA28 128MB USB Ret The thing i love about my Mp3 player is that it plugs right into the USB in your computer, It couldn't be easier to use. It also records voice, For example, I found out that if there is no files on it, It can record for 3 hours straight (As i noticed at the Download Festival ), Another advantage is that you do not need batteries, It has a battery inside it, So you just get a Cable with it and you plug it in through the power supply, It great, I Can honestly not think of ANY disadvantages. Its great
And you were *this* close to being funny. Oh, and for the love of God, please do not get an iPod. Todd and Alex know my reasons for it, and everything I would say has already been said in the numerous Mac threads on EEFactor.
Id say iPod but the iPod is not worth the money in all honesty. After awhile your battery will run low faster and faster and then i heard from consumer reports that sometimes the batteries just stop recharging. But all i have is an iPod and an Atrac3plus CD Player.
