I'm not sure of the names of the battles, other than the "Battle of Helm's Deep" in 'The Two Towers', but wasn't the "Siege of Gondor" the fight scene with all the green goblin ghost things (excuse the spider-man liason)? I think that part was, although well done, too easy of a win for the good side. A swarm of green ghosts over a large group of Orcs (?) made it pretty anticlimatic. Even though RotK was pretty good. The "Battle of Helm's Deep" was awesome because it was just people killing other people with swords and arrows. No ghosts. 'The Two Towers' is my fave, followed by 'Return of the King', then followed by the first LotR movie. [/b][/quote] Well in the book the Seige of Gondor, also known as the Battle of the Pellennor Fields, the ghosts did appear, but the battle was longer than that. The theatrical version of RotK majorly cut down on battle scenes, the Extended Edition has much more.
