Your HT Rituals / Traditions

you mean.. when the cd finished, throw it away and go buy a new one so that the HT will be 100x platina in 2weeks?

I listen to at least one song off Hybrid Theory everday (usually Pushing Me Away as it is my fav.) When i listen to it all i like to program the order which they play so my fav. songs play after each other. My order is usually

I always sing along to it as i know every word on the album (without the lyrics in front of me ) And after all this....i play it over again!

There are certain times i listen to it though if that could count in a way :wth:

 

Every night at 11:11, I turn off all the lights and listen to Hybrid Theory with only my socks on.

 

I get my cd player. I connect it to the thingy since I hate wasting batteries. I place my cd player onto a chair. I go over to whereever my cd is. I take it out of its case if its in one. I go over to the cd player. I open it. I place the cd into the cdplayer. I close it. I sit on my bed, than slide the chair closer to me. I get the headphones and put them on. I sit with my legs crossed and lean towards the cd player to press play. In between that I turned on my tv to some channel there. While the cd is playing, I have my hands played under my legs and rock back and forth. That is my ritual at home.

If at class I place my cd player on my desk. I make sure that my batteries are in. Most likely the cd will already be inside the cd player. If not, I would place it in the cd player. I put on hte headphones. I press play. Than I just lay back and place my feet on the desk in front of me.

Those are my rituals.

 

well i like to open the case, put it into the cd player and listen to it

im not joking, thats REALLY what i do

 

I enjoy rubbing cocanut oil all over by naked body while listening to it.

 

put it in my discman and take a walk around the east hills.

 

My HT tradition.......

Well, I usually listen to HT every other day. I will listen to the whole cd all the way through then program the cd so Papercut, APFMH, and Forgotten repeat. Usually when Chester is screaming in APFMH I will jump up and scream a long with him just for the heck of it. Good tension reliever.

 

I just slam it in cd player, carefully, press play n then jump around like an idiot screaming the lyrics..I do this with Metoera too

 

At home I just listen to it loudly with double bass options turned on (I love heavy beats) and jump around in my room or sitting quietly in front of the comp. I like to put it on my speakers as well- they magnify the sound so loudly. Thank goodness my neighbours haven't complained.

In the car it's just booming, booming, booming. Especially Breaking The Habit- I love the "gunshot" like sound at the beginning.

 

exactly! i listen to it in the morning it usually leaaves lp in my head for the rest of the day which is a good thing

 

i press play on my mini-disc player and listen to it, then usually end up listening to reanimation and meteora as they both follow on.

 

I would listen to HT absolutely anywhere. Also, I never listen to it just once. I have to listen to it at least twice...usually three times though. And I always sing my heart out, even though I suck, LOL. And I usually listen to at least one of the other albums afterwards.

 

lol same i always sing and usually loud cuz i have it on loud so chesters voice will drown out mine but the rest of the house mostly hears me LOL

also once i listen to HT i have to listen to reanimation and meteora as well and thats just in the morning i sometimes do that at night as well

 

I feel like if I miss a song, then I have to listen to it again. Sometimes I play it when I'm busy with something and i dont even know its playing, then I "wake up" from what I'm doing and then I'm like at the end of it.

I burn a teenie effigy every day

no rituals for me, i hardly listen to the cd since it got signed, but i have it saved on my harddrive though

 

i sacrifice an lpmb member every time i listen to it.
